“We just sit quiet and watch Israeli bulldozers running over Palestinians homes” – A disgruntled friend, over the so-called helplessness of Palestinian Muslims.
Response:
Do we ever sit quiet my friend? Do we ever? We attacked Israel just after a few months of its creation to punish it for its independence. Israel didn’t bulldoze any of our homes at that time did it? But we attacked anyways. Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon. All at once, without any provocation or any reason. Even the OIC and the Arab League were pissed at that (as if they ever matter).
I don’t have any personal grudges against Palestinians, and neither am I a Zionist planted conspirer as many have labeled me earlier. I want their betterment, which is embedded only in the emancipation from their own created bondage of dearth (illiteracy, ignorance, violence and a refusal to give up ego). You cannot watch them bulldoze Palestinian houses well then in the same way could you watch their civilians being blown up if the government does something to punish some others in the defense of that nation?
You wouldn’t like to see innocent people being killed on either side. And I appreciate that. Now lets keep that sentiment of yours and try to build something on it. You said you don’t like what they are doing in Gaza or west bank. I spent about 2 months in west bank, about 2 weeks in Gaza. What they do in Gaza or west bank is a reaction, always, and I can swear upon my life for that. We pose a threat to their security; they try to eliminate that threat.
Israel, as I see it, is undoubtedly the most nationalist nation in the world right now. They are committed to show the world that they are strong enough now to exist in the most hostile of the situations and can still prosper. An example of that was the recent war. Just after a week the war was over, Israeli economy had fully recovered and stable, and was increasing progress by the second week. Lebanon, on the other hand, thanks to Hezbollah, suffered a 13-year setback to its economy. Way to go Mr. Sheikh Scumbag Nasrullah!
